Adventures from Overtown

Set in the heart of the beautiful Marlborough downs, Overtown Manor is a great place to come walking. We can provide packed lunches, guided walks and safari lunches. Please ask Nancy for more details (minimum six people).

We are well located for day trips to the Cotswolds, Bath, Oxford and London (Swindon train station is 4 miles away, trains leave every 15 minutes to London Paddington and take under an hour).

Lunch In a barn

Why not take the opportunity to get out of the office and have your meeting on the go? Take a stroll through lush farmland and work up an appetite while working out your business problem. When you arrive at the barn, Nancy will be there to greet you with a sumptuous spread.

Shooting at Barbury Shooting School

Why not arrange your meeting in the morning at Overtown Manor and then let off steam in the afternoon with some clay pigeon shooting? Situated on the Marlborough Downs just minutes away from Overtown, Barbury Shooting School is open seven days a week for practice sessions, tuition, parties and corporate events. As well as clay shooting, they offer archery, air rifles and simulated game days.

Cycle from Overtown to Ramsbury

What better way to finish a bike ride through the glorious Wiltshire countryside than with a refreshing pint of beer and a tour round an award winning brewery? The Ramsbury Brewery is a short 10 mile bike ride from Overtown Manor, there you can learn how the Ramsbury taste is created as well as indulge in ample tastings of beers and spirits along the way. So bring your bikes, but don’t worry we can arrange collection by taxi for the return journey!
